Reader, if you want to know where Shonda Rhimes' adaptation of Julia Quinn's YA bodice-rippers was filmed, Grosvenor Square in London’s Mayfair district is not really the place to be, contrary to what Lady Whistledown might have told you.
For one, the Bridgertons’ house is actually in London's Greenwich Park, where you will find the Ranger’s House. The mansion, built in 1723, is known as the showcase for the massive art collection left by entrepreneur Julius Wernher.

The interior scenes mainly took place at Halton House in Buckinghamshire while the garden scenes were shot at Chatham Dockyard.
The Featheringtons' house, or the townhouse that stands for it, is situated in Bath's famed Royal Crescent. Number 1 Royal Crescent posed as the Featheringtons' abode for the series, as did Hatfield House, a palatial country manor in Hertfordshire.
