Where Is Nowhere, Kansas in 'Courage the Cowardly Dog'?

Courage the Cowardly Dog literally lives in the middle of Nowhere, as in Nowhere, Kansas. There is no real Nowhere, Kansas but America has lots of ramshackle farmhouses where childless, geriatric couples live with their purple anthropomorphic dogs. They're all on the Great Plains.
