Where Is William McKinley High School in 'Glee'?
America is chock-full of high schools named after William McKinley, the nation's 25th President. But there is only one highly musical William McKinley High School, one where slushies come so cheap that bullies leverage them every now and then.
In the jukebox world of Glee, William McKinley High is situated in Lima, Ohio and holds nationwide cachet as a cheerleading school due to its award-winning squad, the Cheerios. It is also reputed of late for its recently revived, increasingly active glee club.
Outside repeated viewings of full episodes of Glee, there are not just one but three William McKinley Highs in Ohio, all of which are not located in Lima. Rather they are located in Canton, Sebring, and Niles, where Will McKinley was born.

Probably more famous than these schools is the President William McKinley High School in Honolulu, Hawaii. It was founded in 1865.
In addition, there are McKinley High Schools in Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Boston, Massachusetts; Buffalo, New York; St. Albans, West Virginia; Washington, D.C; and several other places in the US.
Don't look into all for glimpses of Lea Michele, Chris Colfer, Cory Monteith, Dianna Agron, Mark Salling, Naya Rivera, Heather Morris, Kevin McHale, Jenna Ushkowitz, Harry Shum Jr. and Darren Criss. Glee's shooting location is at the Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo High School in Long Beach, California. Lindsay has the goods:

Then again, William McKinley could be any high school you went to where bullying would go unpunished but you still attended because of its great arts program.
